About The Event

It is with great pleasure that SLE invites you to attend its ALI vertical farm structure and the HAIBO farmers app launch event. The event will afford attendees from across the world an opportunity to network with industry peers and participate in ushering in an inclusive digital age for the agricultural sector of South Africa. SLE has been working on two projects; a vertical farm structure and an agricultural marketplace app for smallholder farmers in SA. Our sustainable vertical farming structure addresses the issue of lack of access to decent housing, electricity, clean drinking water and limited agricultural land access to farm in for smallholder farmers. The app virtualises the agricultural supply chain for smallholder farmers allowing them to trade safely and competitively as well as to access learning material that relates to their farming activities.
